Red Devil Hall of Fame
Scott has the distinction of winning an NWAC championship at LCC as a player and a coach.  He pitched for the 1989 team that won the division title with a 21-5 record. The following season McDaniel was a key arm in helping the Devils to the 1990 NWAC championship. Both teams were coached by Steve Farrington.  McDaniel then went on to Portland State University. Upon completion of his playing career, McDaniel was hired as the pitching coach under newly hired Kelly Smith. Together Smith and McDaniel led the Devils to three straight NWAC championships from 1995 to 1997. McDaniel currently resides in Kelso and works for Pacific Tech Construction. He led the recent project to improve the LCC bullpen.
