Scott Carnahan coached the Lower Columbia College baseball team for seven seasons from 1977 to 1983.  He compiled a 166-70 record and led the Red Devils to the NWAC championship in 1981.

Carnahan moved on to Linfield College where he won 617 games in 26 seasons as head coach.  His Wildcat teams won 12 Northwest Conference championships and he was named NWC Coach of the Year nine times and District Coach of the Year three times.

Carnahan also was the Athletic Director at Linfield where he oversaw incredible upgrades in facilities and success on the field.

“Carney” is a member of the Linfield College Hall of Fame, the NWAC Hall of Fame and the Centralia College Hall of Fame.

While at LCC, Scott was also responsible with constructing the Story Field main grandstands. Along with his father, he built the stands using discarded seats from the old Sicks Stadium in Seattle.

Carnahan was an outstanding athlete at White Pass High School, Centralia College and Linfield.  But he made an incredible mark on the campuses of LCC and Linfield.
