1999 Lower Columbia Softball team
Jill Powell was the hitting star for these Red Devils but they also had a dominating pitcher in Jennifer Lybrand. Lybrand pitched in 43 games and 280 innings, both school records. The '99 Devils went 40-12 and beat Highline 5-1 in the championship game. Team Members include Powell, Lybrand, Nichole Friese, Emily Minium, Tia White, Katie Whitehead, Angie Ramos, Jessica Trodahl, Keri Peterson, Cara Reid, Kirby Iverson, Desiree Scragg, Leslie Thielen, Kendra Miller, Allison Mattilla and Alisa Williams. The 1999 team began a string of six straight titles under Mackin.
