Red Devil Hall of Fame
It's a short list of people who have been around LCC athletics more than Harlan Cruser. He is one of the longest running members of the LCC Booster Club, over 40 years and counting. Together with his wife Lorna, Harlan can be seen at many Red Devil athletic events cheering the team and offering constructive help for the officials. Cruser took over the LCC women's soccer program in 2011 after the team was suspended for two-years due to budget cuts. He built the team back from scratch and continued a six year run of steady improvement, culminating with a playoff win and 8th place finish in 2017, his final season as head coach. After his "retirement" as head coach, he continued to serve as an assistant under Brian Vogel and current head coach Joe Chicks, and has done much behind the scenes work as a fund-raiser, mentor, coach, groundskeeper and friend.
