Lower Columbia College Red Devils

Jerry was a late 40's all-around athlete who played football, basketball and baseball at LCC. He was all-league in football in 1948 and kicked a field goal in the last :15 seconds to beat undefeated Everett. Davies went on to play football at Denver University in 1949. He then transferred to Eastern Washington State College where he played baseball for the Eagles. Following graduation, he received his masters degree at the University of Oregon and taught in the Longview School District for 29 years.
