Hall played baseball two seasons, leading the Red Devils to a pair of division titles and second-place finishes at the then NWAACC Championships. In 1979, Hall was named NWAACC Championship MVP after hitting five home runs, and setting tournament records for at-bats (29) and hits (16).

Hall played one season at Gonzaga in 1980, leading the Bulldogs to the NCAA Regionals while earning All-Northern Pacific Conference second-team accolades.

Drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in 1980, Hall played four seasons of minor league ball hitting .277 with 45 homers and 244 RBI’s.

An injury ended his pro career, but Hall never strayed far from athletics. He owns and operates Willie’s Sports Shop in Centralia.
