Considered by many to be the greatest player in LCC women's basketball history, Schwegler takes her place in the LCC Hall after two outstanding seasons as a Red Devil.
 
The Rainier, OR product who won a state championship with the Columbians, joined the LCC hoop team in the 2009-2010 season. She was named a first team All-West Region player as a freshman, leading the Devils to an 18-10 record and an appearance in the NWAC Sweet 16.  As a sophomore, Schwegler led her team to an unbeaten West Region championship and an appearance in the NWAC Elite Eight.
 
Schwegler was also a standout on the LCC softball team both seasons, displaying speed and power as a center-fielder for the Red Devils.
 
After Lower Columbia, Schwegler was recruited to play Division I basketball at Oregon State University where she played a key reserve role for the Beavers in their resurgence as an NCAA contender.  Her athletic ability also had OSU softball calling her to play where she a pinch runner for the Beavers.
