Red Devil Hall of Fame
Jill (Powell) Mackin, Softball
Powell was a two season star for the Red Devils softball team in 1998 and 1999. She possessed incredible power in the middle of a potent LCC club. Her sophomore season was one of the all-time best as she drove in a then-school record 68 runs leading the Devils to the NWAC championship. The Kelso native was the heart and soul of the Red Devil team that went 40-12 and beat Highline 5-1 in the NWAC championship game at Delta Park in Portland. That title was the first of six consecutive NWAC championships for LCC.

While at LCC, the shortstop set school records for homers and RBI's, since eclipsed. Powell is considered one of the first great all-around NWAC stars at LCC.
