The Red Devils won the opening set 25-19, using a 7-of-8 rally stretch to move from 13-9 to 20-10. Chesney Schultz had four kills, while Karissa Otterstetter and Kendall Humphrey added three apiece, and LCC offset Tacoma's six service aces with four aces and repeated points off Tacoma attack errors. Otterstetter recorded three service aces, surpassing her season average of 1.13.

LCC took the second set 25-15, using a 7-0 run from a 3-3 tie to a 10-3 edge as Paityn Shove served six straight points. Shove achieved a season-high of three service aces. Humphrey had five kills, including three during that early surge, and the Red Devils totaled four service aces. Tacoma got two aces from Kailee Brushwood and three kills from Zion Robinson, while eight Tacoma attack errors produced LCC points. Humphrey has recorded at least 10 kills in five consecutive games.

The Red Devils took the third set 25-20 after turning a 15-12 deficit into a 17-15 lead with five straight points, a stretch that included an Otterstetter service ace.
