Meet Retta:

Why did you choose to become a Red Devil?
I became a Red Devil because my very first conversation with Coach Troy was very genuine and I have been looking for his type of coaching since I started playing sports. I also clicked with my teammates, they’re all so sweet and welcoming. LCC feels like home and I haven’t even been there yet!

What is your greatest athletic achievement or memory so far?
My greatest memory would be when my Junior year of High School we beat our hometown rivals in volleyball. Which hadn’t been done in over 20 years. Also my Senior year playing softball, we had the most win in Ogden High history.

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions? 
I normally zone in with my pregame playlist, and right before the game I say a prayer to my heavenly father.

Who is your favorite professional athlete or biggest role model, and why?
My role model is my cousin Kaylee Kofe, she is a setter at BYU. she is my biggest role model because I’ve learned from her that if you want it bad enough you can and will have it.

What is your personal goal for the upcoming season?
My personal goal this upcoming season is to be a better teammate than athlete. I want to be the teammate my peers can turn to when they feel worried or stressed.

Favorite T.V Shows are: Prison Break and One Tree Hill
Favorite Movies are: Princess and the Frog, Home, and all the Grown Ups

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would have to choose transportation 

What is your ultimate post-game meal?
Canes 3 finger combo or Chick-fil-a waffle fries and mac and cheese

Do you have any hidden talents? 
I am a cultural dancer. 

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you bring?
an airplane, my phone, and a blanket
