Meet Kenzie:

Why did you choose to become a Red Devil?
When doing my tour and open gym, I could really see my self there and the girls were so nice and welcoming made me really want to be on that kind of team. Plus all of the gray squirrels are really cute. 

What is your greatest athletic achievement or memory so far?
My greatest athletic achievement is winning a state championship my junior year, it is not someone that everyone gets to experience and it was one of the most thrilling and rewarding night I have ever had and one of the greatest teams I have ever played on.

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions? 
My pre game ritual is getting ready for the day in the morning to the song All Of The Lights by Kanye West. This became my ritual my junior year and I have always done it since. 

Who is your favorite professional athlete or biggest role model, and why?
My favorite professional athletes, I have three: Harper Murray, Andy Jackson and Kobe Bryant. Harper is because she is strong and a hard worker but also because she is a good teammate so goes for Andy but she also plays the same position as me and Kobe is because of the black mamba mentality. 

My biggest role model is my mom, she is the hardest working women I know and I strive to be as smart, strong, beautiful, and caring as her every day. 

What is your personal goal for the upcoming season?
To win it all as a strong team but also to make the best friendships out of all of the girls and to be the best teammate I can be. 

If we are talking goals for like play then to get stronger and faster on the back sets in the middle and to be a wall at the net.

Favorite movie, TV show, or pop-culture obsession: 
My favorite movie is the Fast and Furious series because of the action and the family, my favorite tv series One tree hill because of the characters and there friendships and the drama. 

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation, what if I’m in trouble and need to get out of there, boom suddenly I’m on a beach in Hawaii. Or I’m running late cause I over slept, doesn’t even matter cause I can just teleport there.

What is your ultimate post-game meal?
Normally after mine games we would get Chinese or pizza but the ultimate one would be a Carne Asada with a drum stick ice cream afterwards. 

Do you have any hidden talents?
I don’t think I have any hidden talents, I mean I get excited when I can touch my toes. I can whistle which not everyone can do but that’s about it. 

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you bring?
A private jet that is fully equipped, a pilot, and a phone because I am getting the heck out of there, no way am I staying on that island with snakes and spiders bigger than my face.
