CENTRALIA, Wash. — Lower Columbia tied Centralia 1-1 on Wednesday in league play. LCC scored in the first half before Centralia matched it in the second, and neither side added another goal. The Red Devils finished with a 7-6 edge in shots and put five attempts on goal while holding Centralia to one shot on goal.
First Half
- LCC created early set pieces, with
Raelie Guizzotti taking corners at 4:51 and 7:20 before
Sam Roundtree added another at 7:33; Centralia also had an early chance when Breanna Farnworth hit the crossbar at 8:55.
- The Red Devils kept pressure on through the middle of the half, getting saved shots from Roundtree at 17:38 and
Payton Bullmore at 20:59 before adding another saved attempt and a corner by 29:36.
- Bullmore scored at 42:28 to put Lower Columbia ahead 1-0, and the score held through halftime.
Second Half
- Centralia created pressure after halftime with three corner kicks between 52:53 and 62:48 and a shot by Trinity Edwards that went wide.
- LCC answered with four corner kicks from Guizzotti between 70:25 and 74:25, including a Guizzotti shot saved by Taybree Hansen at 70:49, and later sent another shot wide at 76:25.
- Centralia tied the match 1-1 at 81:52 when Breanna Farnworth scored off an assist from Yadhira Martinez.
- The Red Devils earned one more corner kick in the 83rd minute, but the match finished 1-1.
Bullmore scored an unassisted goal and put both of her shots on goal.
Leeann Williams played all 90 minutes in goal and allowed one goal. Guizzotti put her lone shot on frame. Roundtree also recorded one shot on goal.
