Top Ranked Devils Win 12th Straight

(Longview, WA) – The Lower Columbia men's basketball team stayed unbeaten in West Region play with a 95-61 victory over Grays Harbor on Saturday February 10th.
 
The Devils shook off an early ankle injury to starting guard Kaden Horn and went on to win their 12th straight game.
 
Horn went down 30 seconds into the game when he went up for a rebound and came down wrong on the ankle.  Horn's status is still uncertain as he gets a further evaluation.
 
Super sub Malik Brown picked up the slack with 12 points, six rebounds, three assists and two blocks.
 
Carter McCoy had a double-double for the Devils with 17 points and 11 rebounds.  He shared game-high scoring honors with Kobe Parlin who also had 17 to go with four assists.
 
Josh Jackson got increased minutes with Horn out and stepped up with 14 points and five rebounds.  Jackson was 4 for 7 from three-point range.
 
Camryn Berry also had a solid game with 14 points and six boards.
 
Jonah Zeller had 10 points, five rebounds and two blocks.
 
Keshawn Lewis contributed nine points and three assists.
 
The Devils record is now 9-0 in the West and 21-2 overall.
 
LCC heads out on the road for two games, Wednesday at South Puget Sound (7:30 pm) and Saturday at Pierce (7 pm).
