(Longview, WA) – With two starters out,
Josh Jackson got a starting opportunity and made the most of it leading LCC to a 108-75 victory over the Multnomah University JV's on Monday December 4
th in Longview.
Carter McCoy was resting a sore shoulder and
Kaden Horn stayed off a sore knee. Cue Jackson for his first college start and he was feeling it.
Jackson scored a college career high 20 points. He hit 6 of 12 three-point attempts and also contributed a team-high nine rebounds.
The Devils were clearly the superior team from the jump and LCC leading scorer
Kobe Parlin got his with 26 points. Parlin was 10 for 14 from the floor and 6 for 9 from distance. Parlin also had eight rebounds and seven assists.
Jonah Zeller was two boards shy of a double-double with 15 points and eight rebounds.
Keshaun Lewis also played well with 13 points and six assists. Lewis hit 5 of 8 shots and 3 of 5 from beyond the arc.
Six LCC players scored in double figures and everybody scored in the game.
Malik Brown had 11 points, four board and five assists.
David Young had four steals, four assists and six rebounds to go with his 10 points.
Cody Dauterman scored eight points and
Camryn Berry had five points.
LCC shot 57.5 percent from the floor and 50 percent from three-point range.
The Devils take a 6-1 record on the road for a tough game with Portland on Wednesday December 6
th. The game starts at 7 pm at the Cascade Gym on the Cascade Campus.
