(Longview, WA) The 36
th annual Red Devil Classic once again provided some great entertainment over the Thanksgiving weekend with two OT finishes, including a halfcourt buzzer beater.

Day One
Columbia Basin Hawks and the Centralia Trailblazers got things kicked off on day one.
It looked like the Hawks were going to run away with it getting up 30-13, but the Trailblazers slowly crept back into it cutting the Hawks lead to only 9 at the half. Â
Centralia continued to stick around in the second half and took the lead with 11 minuets to go. But missed shots lead to the Hawks pulling ahead and holding on for the 88-82 win.
Game two on the day the Everett Trojans vs the Mt Hood Saints.
The Saints put on a dominate performance in the first half taking a 29-point lead into the half. The Trojans came out in the second half and out scored the Saints 54-38 but the first half deficit proved to be to much to overcome as Mt Hood held on for the 89-76 win. Â
Game Three, featured the Olympic Rangers vs the Spokane Sasquatch.
Spokane came out on fire taking a quick 40-8 lead on the Rangers 12 minutes into the first half. The Sasquatch would hold a 58-27 lead at the half. Olympic tried to mount a comeback in the second half but the hole was just to deep to climb out. Spokane would go onto win it 96-72.
It was now time for the Devils to take the court, for game four of the day, vs the Southwestern Oregon Lakers.
The Devils took the early lead and built on it throughout the first half to take a 36-25 lead in the half. While the Red Devils lead the entire game the Lakers were right there, even cutting the lead to within 4 at 42 seconds to go. But the Devils hit 6 of 8 free throw shots to finish it out, taking the 72-63 win.
Lower Columbia, lead by freshman
Kobe Parlin, shot 45% from the floor. Parlin was 11-15 from the floor and 4-5 from behind the arc to finish the night with 26 points.
Sophomore
Kaden Horn had 17 points and was 8 for 9 from the foul line.
Freshman
Malik Brown had a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards. Â
Keshawn Lewis had 7 points
Camryn Berry put up 6 points and pulled down 9 boards.

Day Two
Centralia and Everett kicked off day two with the Trailblazers defeating the Trojans 100-96 in overtime.
Nahshon Henderson Crews lead the Trailblazers with 29 points, 7 assists, and 3 rebounds.
Orion Dybdahl put up 22 pionts for Centralia with 9 boards.
The Trojans were lead by the 24 points of Derek Smith.
Raefe McEnroe but up a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds

Next up on the day was the Olympic Rangers and the SW Oregon Lakers.
Once again the Rangers got down early but they came back to cut the Lakers lead to only 10 at the half. Unfortunately, for the Ranger, the Lakers were hitting everything they put up, including 100% of their free throws. Final score was 112-82, SW Oregon.
Lenz Dupont led the Rangers with 24 points
The Lakers scoring was spread out with all five starts scoring double figures.
Logan Deal had 15, Merrick Sherwood and O'Shen Cazimero had 14 each. Colby Whicker and Luke Fotheringham each put up 11 points.

Game three was Columbia Basin and Mt Hood.
The Hawks struggle with shooting only hitting 32% from the floor and were only 2-20 from the 3pt line. Mt Hood took advantage and would go on to win it 73-59.
Amir Plair led the Saints with 18 pts and 8 rebounds. Patrick Robinson put up 10 pts and pulled down 10 boards.
Columbia Basin was led by the 28 points of Ta'Veus Randle

The night cap was the Red Devils vs Sasquatch.
Once again the Red Devils started off strong shooting 60.71% from the floor in the first half to take a 44-39 lead into the half. The Devils shooting continued to improve in the second half as the hit 62.5% from the floor and 40% from behind the arc. Final score 95-77, Lower Columbia.

Once again, Parlin led the Devils putting up 32 pts.
Malik Brown was outstanding, coming off the bench, with 18 pts, 6 rbs, and 3 assists.
Carter McCoy had 14 pts and 10 rbs to hit the double-double.
Jonah Zeller had a big night with 12 points and 5 rbs.

Day three
Â
The final day of the Classic started off with a game to remember. SW Oregon vs Columbia Basin.
The score in this game was never more than a 5-point difference as both teams were shooting well. The Lakers hitting 42% to the Hawks 45%. At the end of regulation, the score was 77-77. Into Overtime we went with both teams showing signs of fatigue as the shooting became more frantic. With 4 seconds to and the Hawks up by one at 84-85 the Laker commit foul. Hawks, Martinez, to the line misses the first shot and makes the second. Hawks now up 84-86. The Lakers inbound the ball with 3 seconds on the clock, to Colby whicker, who throws it from behind the half court line and drains it as the buzzer sounds. Lakers win it 86-87.
Whicker was the leading scorer for the Lakers with 30 pts, 4 rbs, 4 ast.

Latrell Barker led the Hawks with 18 pts and 12 rebounds.

The second game on day two was Spokane vs Centralia
It was another back-and-forth game that look like it could be headed for overtime as well. the Sasquatch manage to hold off the Blazers thanks to some clutch free throw shooting.
Spokane shot 45% from the floor and 62.5% from the FT line.
Centralia had a tough shooting day going 38% from the floor and 30% from behind the arch.

Jahbez Seller had a double-double with 11 pts and 10 rebounds for the Sasquatch

Game Three - The Red Devil Classic Championship - Lower Columbia vs Mt Hood.
In what felt like an NWAC tournament match up the Devils and Saints battled back-and-forth trading the lead 11 times with neither team leading by more than 7 points. Lower Columbia held the 33-30 lead at the half but the Saints would outscore the Devils 34-43 in the second half to win the Championship game 67-73.
Malik Brown came off the bench to lead the Devils in scoring with 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Kobe Parlin put up 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Carter McCoy add 11 pts and pulled down 8 boards.
David Young add 7 points and 5 rebounds
Kaden Horn had 7 points
Jonah Zeller was big down low with 9 rebounds and 6 points. Â
