The Bellevue Bulldogs defeated the Lower Columbia Red Devils 7-1 on Saturday September 22
nd at Northlake Field.

Despite arriving in Longview with just 15 minutes before game time, the Bulldogs jumped on the board first with a goal at the six minute mark.

Lower Columbia evened the game when
Shelby Vermulen scored her 8
th goal in six games. Vermulen's unassisted goal came at the 17 minute mark.

But it was all Bulldogs after that as they took advantage of LCC disorganization to score six straight goals and cruise to the victory. Lauren Landis of Bellevue had three goals. Katleyn Evans added two goals and two assists.

Kennedy Werner had 10 saves and also suffered a bloody nose as the physical Bulldogs received two yellow cards.

The Devils two match win streak was snapped. LCC drops to 2-3-0 in the West and 4-4 overall.

The Red Devils will try and bounce back when they host Pierce on Wednesday September 26
th. The match at Northlake Field begins at 4 pm.
