Devils Finally Play After Two Weeks Off

Rain, snow and general sogginess kept the LCC softball team from playing a game for 15 days.

The Devils finally got on the field, splitting a double header at the RAC Complex on Sunday March 12th.

In game one, Wenatchee Valley jumped out to an early lead and held off the Devils 9-4.  Taylor Brooks took the loss.

Christine Robbins hit her first college home run.

Game two went much better as the Devils rolled to a 10-1 win over Olympic.

Robbins hit another homer and she was joined by Briana Harvill and Mariah Mendez with homers.

Hannah Rothwell was solid in the circle and got help from outstanding defense behind her.

The Devils are 2-2 on the season and will open league play at Clackamas on Tuesday March 21st. There is a possibility that one of the rained out games could be rescheduled.
