The Lower Columbia women's softball team was disappointed when the season opening tournament at the RAC in Lacey was delayed a day and two games were lost.
The Devils were obviously ready to explode.
LCC took 3 of 4 games, scoring 39 runs on 45 hits.

Lower Columbia 5 Edmonds 1Krystina Fischer was solid in the season opener as she held the Tritons in check. There were plenty of offensive stars as
Nicole Bolasky was 3-4,
Hannah Rothwell was 2-2 with an RBI double and
Mariah Mendez hit the first homer of the season.
Lower Columbia 8 Highline 0Bailey Ellis was dominant as she allowed just one hit in the game shortened to five innings. Bolasky was 3 for 3, Rothwell was 2-3 with four RBI's and Mendez went 2 for 2.

Bellevue 16 Lower Columbia 15The Bulldogs won the back and forth pyrotechnic battle by hitting a walk-off three run homer.Â
Jessica Gibson was 3 for 4 with with a homer.Â
Madison Barr was 2-5 with three RBI's.
Lower Columbia 11 Olympic 4 (6)Bolasky was 2-4,
Ashley Kelly had three hits including a homer, double and three RBI. Gibson had another big game as she was 3-4 with a homer and three ribbies. Rothwell was 3-4 and Barr was 3-3 with a double.
The Devils return to action Friday March 18th in the home opener against the Linfield JV's. Start time is 4 pm.
