The Red Devils finally got to play on the home field.
 
After two previous rainouts at Heerensperger Field at Tam O'Shanter Park, the sun came out and the Devils hosted a home game. 
 
And they made it a good day as LCC swept the Corban University JV's 6-0 and 8-3.
 
In game one, Jessica Gibson and Hannah Rothwell combined on a four-hitter.  Gibby went 4 innings, allowing just three hits with five strikeouts.  Rothwell came on and provided three innings of one-hit ball with three strikeouts.
 
Sam Boyce had three hits to lead the way.  At times it was a struggle offensively, but the Devils broke through with an Ashley Kelly RBI double in the third. Gibson also had an RBI single.
 
The Devils bats came alive in the second game.
 
Mariah Mendez came up with a clutch two out single to drive in two and the Devils were on their way.  Mendez was 2 for 2 with three RBI's.
 
Bailey Hockett hit a screaming line-drive homer, part of a 2 for 2, three runs scored game.
 
Nicole Bolasky, Kelly and Gibson each had two hits in the nightcap.
 
Krystina Fischer got the win, allowing five hits over five innings.  Taylor Brooks allowed just two hits in two innings of scoreless relief.
 
The Devils are back on the road when they take on Bellevue Thursday March 31^st, 12 pm DH.
