The LCC Red Devils softball team, playing it's fifth and sixth game on the road over three days, came alive late in game one and then went on to sweep Pierce 8-3 and 16-1 on Friday March 25th.
Down 3-2 to Pierce after six innings in game one, the Devils exploded for six runs in the top of the 7th.
Hannah Rothwell fueled the comeback at the Heritage Recreation Center. She tripled in the third inning and then homered in the seventh inning uprising.
Bailey Ellis improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lower Columbia. She allowed three runs over seven innings. Ellis struck out four, walked none and gave up nine hits.

Nicole Bolasky, Rothwell and
Mariah Mendez combined for eight hits and seven RBIs.
There was no drama in the second game. The Devils scored six in the first and seven runs in the 4th.
Madi Barr blasted two home runs for the Lower Columbia. Barr went 4-4 in the game with three RBIs and three runs scored. Barr homered in the first and third innings.
A solo home run by
Ashley Kelly, a two-run home run by Kelly, a two-run home run by
Sam Boyce, and a two-run shot by Barr in the first inning helped the Lower Columbia put some runs on the board early.
Krystina Fischer struck out five, paving the way for the Lower Columbia win. Fischer allowed no earned runs, four hits and no walks over five innings.
The Devils finally get to play in front of the home crowd when they host the Corban JV's in a 3 pm double header on Monday March 8th.
