The Devils did some serious damage at the RAC in Lacey, but two disapointing losses fuels the team to get better.
Playing seven games over three days, LCC finished with a 5-2 record.
The opener on Friday March 6th saw the Devils lose to Highline 9-7 before bouncing back for a 4-1 win over Centralia.
Against the T-Birds, the Devils did get a monster game from Chelsey Miller who was 4 for 4 with a homer and two RBI's. Julia Breidt took the complete game loss, striking out eight.
Aagainst Centralia, Bailey Ellis got the complete game win with four strikeouts.
Saturday, the Devils got a no-hitter from Krystina Fischer in an 8-0 win over South Puget Sound. Maggie Harshaw had two hits and three RBI's to lead the offense.
Bellevue outscored the Devils in a 10-6 game Saturday. Miller had another homer and also hit a triple for her three RBI's. Nicole Bolasky had had three hits and Madison Barr had two hits. Ellis took the loss.
Against Wenatchee Valley, Breidt took a no-hitter into the fifth innings before giving up a blooper. The offense was potent with Fischer hitting a grand slam. Miller went deep again. Ashley Kelly had three hits and Bolasky and Jenny Hagen had two hits each.
In the final two games Sunday, the Devils beat Green River 13-1 and then smacked Olympic 11-3. Against the Gators, Delaney Kelley had four hits and scored three runs. Fischer drove in three runs. Miller, Kelly and Bolasky had two hits each.
