It was a happy new year for the LCC men's basketball team has they opened up league play with a 78-75 victory at South Puget Sound on Saturday January 3rd.

The Devils had a six point halftime lead, but hit enough free throws down the stretch to collect the win.

Jeremy Burright led the Devils with 22 points and 11 rebounds.  Michael Dupree had 18 points. Taylor Drey had 15 including three big three's in the second half. Drey also had 11 rebounds to collect a double-double.  Ryan Lee had 12 points.

The Devils will host Highline on Wednesday January 7th at the Mark Morris Gymnasium. Tip off is set for 8 pm. The game can be seen on a live stream with the links to Tophervision here on the lccredevils.com website.
