A long, talented Highline Thunderbird team came to Longview and collected an 87-64 victory over the Lower Columbia men's team on Wednesday January 7th.

Doug McDaniel scored 21 points to lead the T-Birds.

Down 16 at the half, the Devils rallied to get within eight, but Highline finished strong and put the game away.  LCC was pressured into 24 turnovers, while Highline had 13.

Jamie Ford, Taylor Drey and Jeremy Burright led LCC with 15 points each.  Ryan Leed had seven points and led the Devils with nine rebounds.

Highline got 29 points off the bench, while Red Devils reserves scored just 3.

LCC will try and bounce back when they host another tough West Region foe Saturday, the Clark Penguins. The game was originally slated for the evening, but the game time has been changed to 3 pm. The game will be played at the Mark Morris Gymnasium.
