Devils Beat #6 Clark

The Red Devils played with pride, smarts and cool in a 80-76 victory over #6 ranked Clark on Saturday January 10th.

Sophomore backcourt mates Taylor Drey and Michael Dupree were the stars. Drey, the Vancouver native, had 25 points and eight rebounds to lead the way. Dupree had 23 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals. Dupree was 6 for 6 at the line including two clutch freebies that solidified the victory.

Ryan Lee had a defining stretch in the second half, hitting two big shots. Lee finished with 15 points on 7 fof 10 shooting from the floor.

The Devils were playing without key reserve Damien Ford who was ill.

The talented Penguins came out with intensity and fire and tried to muscle the Red Devils.  LCC would have none of it, outrebounding Clark 36-32, shooting 49% from the floor and hitting 17 of 19 free throws.

Clark was led by the 23 points of Evan Garrison.

The Devils are now 2-1 in league and will head for Auburn for a matchup with Green River on Monday January 12th.
