Head coach Jim Roffler has had an amazing career. Now he's close to a rare NWAC milestone.

All five Red Devil starters scored in double figures as the Devils beat Grays Harbor 76-62 on Wednesday January 28th in Aberdeen.

The victory was #499 for coach Roffler as the head coach of the LCC men's team.  He can hit the 500 mark Saturday against South Puget Sound at newly renovated Myklebust Gymnasium. Game time is 3 pm.

Michael Dupree and Ryan Lee each had 14 points to lead the Devils against the Chokers.  Taylor Drey scored 13 and Jamie Ford had 12. Jeremy Burright had `10 points. Lee also led the rebounders with eight.

The Devils led by just three at halftime, but they stepped up the defense and outscored the Chokers 42-31 in the second half.

It will be fitting that coach Roffler gets #500 at Myklebust Gym. We'll see if it happens on Saturday where the new renovation will be unveiled to the public on Hall of Fame Day.
