Dupree with 30 As Devils Dispatch Centralia

LCC sophomore Michael Dupree scored a career-high 30 points to lead the Red Devils to a 90-78 win over Centralia on Saturday January 24th.

Dupree hit 11 of 17 shots to lead the way including 4 of 8 three-pointers.  The Devils got off to another slow start against the upset minded Blazers, but it was a 12-2 run late in the first half that allowed LCC a 49-38 lead at the break.

Jeremy Burright had a solid game with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Burright missed just one shot, going 7 for 8 from the floor. He also had four assists.

Ryan Lee had scored 14 points and pulled down six boards.  Taylor Drey had 12 points and five rebounds.

The Devils also got a solid game off the bench from Thorstur Kristinsson, who scored eight points with eight rebounds.

Centralia's Zach Carras had a big night with 27 points.

The Devils are alone in third place in the West Region with a 5-2 mark, 13-7 overall.  The victory was also win number 498 in the incredible career of head coach Jim Roffler.

The Devils travel to Aberdeen to play Grays Harbor Wednesday January 28th at 8 pm.

The Devils look forward to moving back to newly renovated Myklebust Gym for a game with South Puget Sound on Saturday January 31st.
