The Lower Columbia Men's basketball team went on a key second half run and then held on down the stretch to beat Tacoma 82-78 on Wednesday January 21st.
Down 39-36 at the half, the Devils went on 12-2 run to take control of the game.
Leadin the way was sophomre star Michael Dupree who scored 19 points with eight assists. Freshman guard Jamie Ford was hot from the outside, hitting 6 of 10 3's, scoring 18 points with eight rebounds.
Taylor Drey had 15 points for LCC. Ryan Lee added 13 points and six rebounds. Jeremy Burright led LCC with 11 rebounds to go with his 9 points including a second half follow-dunk.
Tacoma big man Jaurence Chisholm led the Titans with 25 points and 16 rebounds.
With the win, the Devils go to 4-2 in West Region play. LCC will play its final game of the season at Mark Morris before heading back home to newly remodeled Myklebust Gym on Saturday January 31st at 3 pm against South Puget Sound. The Devils host Centralia this Saturday January 24th in a 7 pm tip-off at the Mark Morris Gym.
