(Salem, OR) -- in an early season rematch, the Lower Columbia soccer team ended up in a scoreless draw with Walla Walla at the NWAC Friendlies in Salem OR.
Five days after a 2-1 loss at Walla Walla, the two teams squared off again and it was an even, defensive battle.
LCC outshot the Warriors 12-10 overall, and 5-2 in shots on goal.
Cassandra Cleland got the shutout with one save.
Dea Covarrubias had two shots on goal to lead the Devils.
The result makes the Devils overall record at 1-2-1.
LCC will have a few days off before beginning West Region play Wednesday September 10. The home opener begins at 4 pm at Northlake Field in Longview.
