(Salem, OR) – New Lower Columbia College women's soccer coach
Steven Evans got his first victory as a college coach yesterday.
His Red Devils came away with a 2-1 victory over the Lane Titans on the first day of the NWAC Friendlies in Salem.
The Devils opened up the scoring with a first half goal by
Shelby Poland on an
Ava Gibbs assist. Lane tied it up with a first half goal.
The second half game winner for Devils was a beautiful header by
Maylee Reynolds off a
Sam Roundtree assist.
LCC is 1-2 on the season and they will try and avenge a loss to Walla Walla last Friday with another game with the Warriors Tuesday August 20 at 12 pm.
