(Longview, WA) – It was another hat for LCC sophomore
Alexia Valdez. For the second straight match, Valdez scored a three-goal hat trick leading the Red Devils to 4-0 victory over NAIA Bushnell University on Wednesday September 11
th.
Avery Kimball got the scoring started with a goal 11 minutes into the match.
Avery Ness got the assist.
Then Valdez took over with back-to-back unassisted goals at 13' and 25'.
Valdez than scored the final goal at 49' with help from
Kayla Welker who got the assist.
There were many other Devil players who had great scoring chances. LCC outshot Bushnell 30-3.
Rhyli Grim had numerous scoring chances but she was also lauded for playing an outstanding match in other aspects.
Jade Goulding had the first half shutout.
Emma Beavin kept it going with a second half shutout and she collected the only save of the match.
LCC has yet to give up a goal this season. They have scored 25.
The 5-0 Devils will take on Pierce on Wednesday September 18
th at 4 pm at Northlake Field.
