(Longview, WA) The Lower Columbia Red Devils pulled off a miraculous comeback to defeat the Bellevue Bulldogs 58-57 in a thrilling game that culminated with a buzzer-beating tip-in by David Young.
Down by as many as 20 points in the first half, the Red Devils trailed 40-20 at halftime but displayed incredible resilience and determination to storm back in the second half.
David Young, the hero of the game, not only sealed the victory with his last-second tip-in but also delivered an impressive overall performance with 11 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals.
Malik Brown was instrumental in the comeback, leading the team in scoring with 12 points and adding 8 rebounds, while Keshawn Lewis chipped in 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Kap Laila provided valuable support, contributing 10 points on 5-for-9 shooting and grabbing 5 rebounds.
For Bellevue, Max Mayo led the way with a game-high 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
