(Longview, WA) – A big first half gave the Devils a sizable lead and they were able to dispatch Shoreline 82-66 on Friday January 5
th at Myklebust Gym.
The game was tied 7-7 in the first six minutes before LCC went on a 9-0 run followed by another 7-0 run to take control of the first half. The Devils first half featured 53 percent from the floor and 6-10 from three-point range. LCC took a 49-25 lead at the intermission.
The Dolphins made it interesting as the second half shooting cooled off for LCC (37%). But the closest Shoreline would get is nine points and LCC captured the victory.
Kobe Parlin led LCC with 21 points and nine rebounds.
Kaden Horn scored 13 points and
Carter McCoy was solid with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Lower Columbia got plenty of support from the bench as the LCC reserves outscored the Shoreline subs 30-8. Super-6

Malik Brown had 13 points, four rebounds and a team-high six assists.
Keshawn Lewis hit 4 of 7 shots for 11 points with six boards.
The Devils close out the pre-West Region season at 12-2. LCC has an ultra-tough league opener as they travel to Tacoma on Wednesday January 10
th. The game tips off at 7:30 pm. The Titans have won 12 straight games coming into the clash.
