(Longview, WA) -- The LCC Red Devils women's basketball team had seven players in double digits in a 102-40 win over Highline Thunderbirds.
It was all Lower Columbia from the beginning on Saturday, January 27, at Myklebust Gym as the Devils held the T-Birds scoreless for the first six minutes to finish off the first quarter up 18-2.
By the half LCC was up 50-20, hitting 57% from the floor and 43% from the beyond the arch.
The second half featured the Devils bench and they were ready to go.
Dylan Mann came off the bench to get a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Hope Bleak was on fire and had a big night putting up 15 points going 5 for 5 from beyond the three-point arch. It was her college career high.
Maris Baklund added 11 points, four assists, and three steals.
Reigha Niemeyer led the Devils with 19 points, and also had four rebounds, four steals, and two assists.
Kayla Kasubuchi put up 11 points, pulled five rebounds, dished three assists, and pilfered three steals.
Karlee VonMoos also had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Morgan Hamilton continued to be outstanding with 10 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
Next up for the Red Devils (5-0) are the Green River Gators (4-1) on Wednesday, January 31, at Myklebust gym. Tip is set for 5:30 pm.
