(Centralia, WA) – Things were rather Grim for the Centralia women's soccer team on Saturday September 16
th.
Lower Columbia freshman
Rhyli Grim had two goals to lead the Red Devils to a 4-2 victory. The Devils were playing at Centralia's new on-campus pitch at Bob Peters Field.
Grim didn't waste much time as she scored her first goal four minutes into the match.

Joely Renk made it 2-0 on a goal assisted by
Brynlee Grant.
The Devils were in full control when
Scout Mathewson scored at 54' giving LCC a 3-0 lead.
The Blazers avoided a shutout when Abigail Hansen scored at the 56' mark.
Grim dashed any hopes the Blazers had by scoring her second goal at the 80 minute mark.
Centralia closed out the scoring with a Cierra Larson goal with just four minutes left.
LCC outshot the Blazers 22-6 and had a sizable corner kick advantage of 10-1.
With the victory, LCC goes to 4-4-1 overall and 2-1 in West Region play. The Devils travel to Green River on Wednesday September 20
th for a 1 pm match with the Gators.
