Mt. Hood 7 Lower Columbia 1

The Saints started strong scoring five runs in the first two innings.  Down 5-0 early, the Red Devils could never muster an offensive comeback as Mt. Hood starter Kylie Parsons allowed just three hits. Raychel Squibb's third inning sacrifice fly led to the only LCC run.

Leanna Russell had the only extra base hit for LCC, a double.  Sunny Bennion and Kennedy Williams each had a single.

LCC starter Alli Heater settled down after the first two innings. Heater gave up five earned runs, two walks and three strikeouts.  Sadie Knutson pitched a scoreless inning of relief.

Lower Columbia had an 11-7 lead with three outs to go in the 7th, but the Saints scored four in the bottom of the frame to force extra innings. Mt. Hood walked it off with a run in the bottom of the ninth.

The Devils offense was led by Destiny Dunlap who hit two homers and drove in three runs.  Teeghan Reams hit her 15th homer of the season and Squibb also went deep.  Reams and Sawyer Stenson both went 2 for 5 with three RBI's.

Knutson started and went 2 2/3 innings allowing five runs on seven hits.  Darby DeRuyter went four innings allowing six runs (5 earned).
