(Tacoma, WA) – Composure. It can make the difference. The Devils showed it. Tacoma? Not so much.
The Red Devils defeated Tacoma 75-61 on Wednesday February 8
th. The Devils kept a share of first place with the road victory.
Lower Columbia had an eight point lead with two minutes to go in the game. That's when that composure factor hit. TCC's Dajuante Williams was hit with two technical fouls and was ejected. TCC head coach Rachi Wortham was also hit with two T's and was also ejected.
LCC's best free throw shooter,
Kaden Horn, then stepped to the line and made 7 of the 8 technical foul shots.
Ballgame.
Horn had a big night for the Devils. He scored a college career-high 31 points to lead the Devil offense. Horn was 7 for 11 from the floor, 2 for 3 from long distance, and hit 15 of 16 free throws.
Sherman Royal III had a double-double for LCC. Royal had 12 points, 10 rebounds and five steals.
Cameron Holden had 10 points off the Red Devil bench.
Ashton Harvey also contributed five points and seven boards.
LCC is now 17-5 on the season and 7-1 in West Region play. The Devils remained tied with Green River for first place.

th as the Devils take on the Grays Harbor Chokers in Aberdeen. Game time is set for 4 pm.
