(Des Moines, WA) – In one of the more complete victories at the Highline Thunderdome, the Lower Columbia men dismantled Highline 94-47 on Saturday January 28
th.
Ashton Harvey and
Kaden Horn led a balanced Devil scoring attack with 17 points each.
Highline jumped out to a 5-0 lead at the start of the game. It was all Devils after that. The Devils led 52-24 at halftime and then poured it on outscoring HC 42-23 in the second half.
Jake Leitz had a great game for LCC. He was 4 for 6 from the floor for 11 points. Leitz also had a game-high 12 rebounds, five on the offensive glass.
Harvey was solid. He hit 8 of 12 shots and pulled down six boards.
Horn was sounding from deep. All of his nine shots were from beyond the arc and he made five of them for his 17.
Sherman Royal III had 10 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Emanuel Steward had nine points and four boards.
Carter McCoy had the snowmen going. He finished with eight points and eight rebounds.
Jonah Zeller also had eight points along with five rebounds and four big blocks.
Mekhi Morris had seven points and five assists for LCC.
The Devils raised their West Region record to 4-1, 15-5 overall.
The next game is a big one. LCC will host Green River at 7:30 pm on Wednesday February 1
st at Myklebust Gym. The first place Gators (6-0) are riding an eight game winning streak as they come to Longview with a 17-3 record.
