Devils Stay Unbeaten In West With Win Over Tacoma

(Longview, WA) – The Lower Columbia women's soccer team peppered the goal with numerous shots and three made it home in a 3-0 victory over Tacoma on Wednesday September 21st.

LCC got on the board quickly when Jasmari Nolasco's corner kick found Adalie Schierscher who put it in the net for a 1-0 just over two minutes in.

Two minutes into the second half, Nataija Blaylock got away from the TCC defense and scored an unassisted goal to make it 2-0.

The Devils capped off the scoring when Libby Brown dribbled over half of Northlake Field and put away an unassisted goal at 86'.

Lower Columbia had 19 shots to Tacoma's six.

LCC goalkeeper Kyla Pires got the shutout and was credited with three saves.

The Devils are 4-0-2 in West Region play as they host the South Puget Sound Clippers on Saturday September 24th.  The match at Northlake Field gets underway at 12 p.m.
