Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 (Longview, WA) – The Lower Columbia College volleyball team opened the season in winning style as they won two matches at the LCC Get Together on Friday August 26^th at Myklebust Gymnasium.
 
The Devils won the season lid lifter 3-0 over Centralia.
 
The set scores were 25-14, 25-16 and 25-12.
 
Katy Cooper led the way with 10 kills and five digs.
 
Alex Tinsley had 18 assists. Kate Onespot-Danforth had 14 assists.
 
Jazzy Golly had eight digs.
 
The Devils closed out the successful day with a 3-1 victory over the Clackamas Cougars.
 
The sets went 25-16, 25-17, 23-25 and 25-19.
 
Paige Chinchen had 11 kills to lead the offense. Kate Johnson added nine kills.
 
Tinsley was very good serving including five aces.
 
Golly did well in making the transition to libero. The sophomore had 20 digs.
 
The Devils continue the Get-Together on Saturday August 27^th with two matches.  LCC plays Mt. Hood at 9:00 am and then battles Umpqua at 3:30 pm.
