(Auburn, WA) – The Green River Gators took a 2-0 lead over the LCC Red Devils on Wednesday February 16
th.
That was their only lead.
LCC dominated from there and went on to an 82-45 victory. The Devils remain 7-0 in the West and 17-1 overall.
Six Devil players scored in double figures, led by the 13 points each from
Jodi Noyes and
Chinedu Nnadi. Noyes was 5 for 9 from the floor and had five rebounds and three steals. Nnadi had seven boards.
Danica Schmidt was all over the floor with 12 points, eight rebounds, two assists, four steals and one block.
Ally Harman was solid with 10 points on 5 for 9 shooting. Harman also had five steals to lead the full court harassing defense that forced 36 Green River turnovers.
Katelynn Forner also was doing her thing at the point with 10 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals.
Jazlynn Novelli provided 11 points off the Devil bench. The LCC reserves outscored the Gators bench 35-10.
All 15 LCC players got into the game and contributed. The squad shot 43 percent from the floor and out-rebounded the Gators 48-43.
LCC has won seven straight games as they head to Lakewood to play the Pierce Raiders on Saturday February 19
th. Game time is at 1 pm.
