(Shoreline, WA) – The Shoreline Dolphins hit a three right before halftime and then stretched their lead in the second half to defeat Lower Columbia 77-67 on Friday December 8
th.
Up 39-36 on the late shot before halftime, the Dolphins were able get up by 13 and then hold off any serious Lower Columbia rally in the second half.
The Devils jumped out to a 16-8 lead in the first six minutes of the afternoon game.
Sherman Royal III, who lead LCC with 17 points in the game, got off to a hot start. But Shoreline stayed with their plan and got back into the game and took the three point lead on AJ Boyd's three before the break.
Emanuel Steward was only other Red Devils in double figures with 15 points.
Cole Hardy had eight points and six rebounds.
Jonah Zeller scored seven points with four boards.
Cameron Holden had six points.
Jalen Stepney had 26 for shoreline. Boys added 21 for the Dolphins.
The Devils have dropped two straight games after starting the season 6-0. LCC will try and get back in the win column when they host the Blue Mountain Timberwolves on Sunday December 11
th. Game time at Myklebust Gym is 2 pm.
