(Auburn, WA) -- The Red Devils got home a little earlier than expected when they completed a three game sweep of the Green River Gators in Auburn Wednesday October 12
th.
Lower Columbia won the match 3-0 and they did it in just over an hour. The set scores were 25-10, 25-10 and 25-7.
Green River had to deal with an LCC team kill percentage of .369. In the third set, Green River served just two times.
Kate Johnson had 10 kills and her kill percentage was an outstanding .444.
Paige Chinchen also had a stellar kill percentage of .429 as she also had 10 kills. The freshman also had 12 digs.
Katy Cooper had three kills, 16 digs and six aces.
Arianna Vreeland also 16 digs for LCC.
The Red Devils setters were effective as
Alex Tinsley had 18 assists and
Kate Onespot-Danforth had 11.
The Devils are 5-1 in the West and 19-4 overall. Lower Columbia is alone in second and have a chance to make some room against third place Pierce when the Raiders come to Longview for a 6 pm match on Friday October 14
th.
