(Longview, WA) – The Lower Columbia volleyball team had a very efficient net game in a 3-0 sweep over Tacoma on Friday October 7
th at Myklebust Gym.
The set scores were 25-9, 25-20 and 25-16.
Paige Chinchen had an outstanding match with 10 kills and a .348 kill percentage. As a team, LCC was .206 in the kill percentage category.
Kate Johnson had eight kills (.200 kill %).
Jayden Foster added four kills (.364 kill %).
In the back row, libero
Arianna Vreeland had 23 digs to lead the team. Chinchen added 16 digs to go along with her play at the net.
Red Devil setters
Alex Tinsley and
Kate Onespot-Danforth were both on target. Tinsley had 15 assists and Onespot-Danforth had 13.
The Devils are now 4-1 in West play, 18-4 overall.
Highline is on top of the league with a 5-0 mark. LCC and Pierce are tied for second at 4-1.
The Devils travel to Green River for a 7 pm match on Wednesday October 12
th. The team then returns home for a key match with Pierce on Friday October 14
th. LCC defeated Pierce 3-1 back on September 21
st in Lakewood.
