Red Devils soccer was unable to overcome two early goals by Highline on Wednesday, September 29 at Northlake field in Longview, WA. 

Highline forward, Meredith Udovich, hit the back of the net first in the 15th minute and then assisted Dakne Blanco-Ramirez with the Thunderbirds second goal in the 27th minute. Highline out shot Lower Columbia 12 to 4 in the first half of the match and had 4 cornerkicks to LCC's 0.  

The Devils came out fired up in the second half and controlled the tempo and time of possession, out shooting the Thunderbirds 9-3, but no one was able to hit the target.  

Red Devils had 8 fouls to the Thunderbirds 3. Lower Columbia also had to yellow cards issued. 

The loss moves the Red Devils (3-2-1) into second place in the west with 10 pts and gives Highline (4-0-1) sole possession of first with 13 pts. 

Lower Columbia is off this weekend but will get back at it on Wednesday, October 6, vs the Centralia trailblazers. Match is set for 4:00 pm at Northlake field.
