In the end the Centralia Trailblazers had the only stat that mattered.

Centralia defeated Lower Columbia 1-0 in a rivalry match on Wednesday October 6th at Northlake Field.

The Red Devils out shot the Blazers 16-6. LCC had five corners kicks to none by Centralia.  And the bulk of play was in the Centralia end of the field.  But Allison Jenson scored the lone goal of the match when she was able to loft a ball over LCC keeper Olivia Hare just three minutes into the second half.

It was another tough loss for the Red Devils who have a penchant for controlling play without getting on the scoreboard.

LCC leading goal scorer Jerika Isaacson had to leave the game early in the first half with a leg injury and the Devils offense could not cash in.

With the loss, the Devils drop to 3-3-1 in West Region play.  Centralia goes to 2-2-3 in the Region.

LCC will have a week to regroup. LCC will host the Bellevue Bulldogs on Wednesday October 13th at 4 pm.
