Shortly before the key NWAC West Region soccer match in Longview, the Red Devils and Bellevue Bulldogs saw the skies open up with hail. Once the match started, it started raining goals for LCC.
The Devils defeated Bellevue 7-0 at Northlake Field on Wednesday October 13. LCC scored two early goals and then cruised to the victory, avenging a 2-0 loss at Bellevue back on September 15th.
Grace Bergstedt got the first of her two goals just under four minutes into the match. She added another at the 40' mark.
Libby Brown also scored two goals for LCC.
Kati Waggoner had a goal and an assist in the lopsided affair.
Bella Money scored on a penalty kick and
Fiona Andrews closed out the scoring with a goal at the 70' mark.
Kyla Pires and
Jade Cox shared in the clean sheet for LCC.
With the win, LCC is now 4-4-1 in West Region play and jumped back into second place with 13 points.
The Devils travel to Pierce for a big match on Saturday October 16th. Start time is 12 noon.
