The Lower Columbia volleyball team fought through a mid-match lull to take control and defeat Chemeketa 3-1 on Thursday September 2nd at Myklebust Gym.

Camryn Wilson had a solid overall match with 13 kills and 20 digs as the Devils won 25-19, 20-25, 25-17 and 25-20.

Emily Borgstedt added eight kills as the Devils had a kill percentage of .098.

Olivia Kelzenberg and Katy Cooper had six kills each.  Angela Sullivan and Kiana Robertson had five kills each.

The Red Devils had 92 digs against 77 for Chemeketa.  Emma Nelson led the way with 36 digs.

Setting up the offense was Amanda Holm and Ashley Noah who evenly split the LCC assist total of 40.

Lily Albrecht led the Storm with 14 kills.

The Devils raise their record to 2-1 on the season. LCC will host a three-way affair on Friday September 3rd.  Edmonds and Clark play at 1 pm.  The Devils and Edmonds meet at 4 pm.  LCC and Clark will then play at 7 pm.
