The Lower Columbia College volleyball team hosted a three-team, three-match event on Friday September 3
rd and the home team came away with a pair of victories.

The Devils defeated Edmonds 3-1 and then outlasted Clark 3-2. Edmonds won the other match 3-1 over Clark.

Camryn Wilson has an outstanding match against Edmonds with 16 kills and seven digs. The Devils won the match by scored of 25-14, 22-25, 25-15 and 25-22.

Katy Cooper had a well rounded match with seven kills and 18 digs.

Emily Borgstedt had nine kills and
Josie Dew added seven.

Amanda Holm led the distributors with 27 assists and
Ashley Noah had 16.

Emma Nelson had 22 digs.
Â
Against Clark it was looking like an LCC blowout but the Penguins would not go away. The Devils won the first two sets 25-20 and 25-20 before Clark came back with set wins 25-21 and 25-22. The Devils collected themselves and took care of things with a 15-6 victory in the deciding set.

Wilson was again superb with 19 kills and 15 digs.

Josie Dew had eight kills and
Jazzy Golly was very productive with five kills and 12 digs.

Holm and Noah split the assists with 19 each. Holm also had 10 digs and Noah with nine.

Nelson had 20 digs.

The Devils are now 4-1 on the season as they get ready to host the Bellevue Bulldogs on Tuesday September 7
th. First serve at Myklebust Gym is 6:30 pm.
