The Lower Columbia College women's soccer team had some chances, but the ball wouldn't go into the net as Centralia came away with a 3-0 victory on Friday April 16th.
It was a scoreless match until the 51st minute when the Blazers got a free kick and cashed in. 10 minutes later Centralia used a two goal barrage to take control of the match.
The Devils outshot the Blazers 12 to 10 on the day.Â
Marissa Moyle and
Jolie Gullickson each had three shots.
LCC goalkeeper
Brandi Stoker had five saves.
"I think we proved that we are not only capable of controlling tempo but we can also create opportunities", said LCC head coach
Joe Chicks. "We just need to work on our mentality and consistency for a full 90 minutes."
"I am proud of how our team is supporting each other during challengin moments", Chicks said.
The Devils are 0-2-1 as they get ready to host Bellevue on Tuesday April 20th. The match begins at 2:30 at Northlake Field.
