(Longview, WA) -- The fans were ready to watch some post-Thanksgiving basketball.

The Red Devil Classic made it's return to Black Friday after last year's tournament was cancelled due to the pandemic. A good crowd went home happy as the Lower Columbia Red Devils defeated the Olympic Rangers 77-70 on Friday November 26
th.

Dakota Reber had 16 points to lead a balanced Red Devil attack against the talented Rangers.

Keylin Vance came off the bench to score 16 points with five assists.

The Devils shook off a rough start to take a 40-34 halftime lead. But the Rangers would not go away and the Devils largest lead was eight with one minute left in the game. LCC's struggling defense allowed the Olympic team to stay in the game. The Rangers also out rebounded the Devils 47-37.

Wayne Jamison had 18 to lead Olympic.

The Devils got nine points and six boards from
Sherman Royal III.Â
Ky-mani Pollard had eight points, three assists and six steals for LCC.

Kyle Gruhler did a great job on the boards with 10 to go along with 11 points.Â
Cameron Holden had seven points off the bench.

The Devils will take on Spokane Saturday night in a rematch of the 2019 Red Devil Classic final, won by the Sasquatch.

The game gets underway at 6 pm at Myklebust Gymnasium.
